How is sci-fi and the horror genre presented in our media film trailer?
In the first few seconds of our film trailer sci-fi is automatically known with the special effected that we used, we have mechanical aliens invading outside houses, we also have UFOs sending spaceships out, these are indicators for the sci-fi genre this is because of how common they are used in sci-fi films, the target audience for our film is mainly young adults mainly males, we also have horror in our film this is shown with the villian zombies in our film, we have tried our best to make them as realistic as possible so that it would link to our horror genre it can also link to our sci-fi genre because zombies are made up.
Our magazine and poster also has features that would link to our horror and sci-fi genre, like the massive bold blue text in our poster, in sci-fi posters we see a lot of common colours mainly light and dark blues which we were inspired by.
