When we came up with the idea of creating a horror mixed with sci-fi elements, we thought up what we could of we decided to do some research about sci-fi movies and we found out that film producers used a range of techniques like green screens, special effects, we decided to go through the special effects route as we couldn't think a scene were we needed a green-screen, so we decided on using special effects as our support for our sci-fi genre, in our film trailer there is a lot of hints of special effects used as you can see UFOs, helicopter crashes and aliens invading areas.
We also used Blender to create our production company scene this took a while to make as we required a powerful computer to give us the highest quality video and also made it unique by making a production name up.
